$WKHS impatient lesson

Was watching $WKHS for a morning dip buy, had entries in 3 spots it dropped.

As it turned out my entries weren’t too bad and had I let the chart play out could have come away with a pure gain. Unfortunately impatience got the best of me and I saw a little perk to almost break even and took it. Out for a $3 loss to paper account. As the chart played out it rose to $4.95 before starting to pull back. These positions had the potential to be an $81 gain this morning, but I got a bit too anxious to get out. Lessons on watching the chart and letting pattern play out are definitely in my review plan today.

$REFR dip buy

Quick dip buy trade in less than 3 minutes.

Had a dip buy opportunity that arose on this one I was watching this morning. Noticed it started holding a bit after falling got in for a quick gain made $85 for my paper account in less than 3 minutes. Not a bad way to start my morning.

NUGL Overnight

Entered two 1000 share positions long for overnight opportunity. In 1000 at .57 and 1000 at .58
Set take profits at .68
This is where the flexibility to watch and make more intelligent entry and exits would help. I had a set take profit in what I felt was guaranteed and had a $210 gain to paper account. had I realized it was doing as well might have held a few days and made at least twice that.

July 18, 2019 CODX

Quick paper gain

Had a quick morning paper trade on CODX. I shorted as it seemed to be hitting some resistance spots between 1.86-2.04 then covered all my shorts at 1.79. Nice little gain up on cancer detection news, but more than likely comes back down.

Definitely could have held this one longer as I would be up around $300 at this point in the day. Given this is paper who knows the availability of actual short-able shares with brokers I have.

NXTTF trade 5-23-19

Quick paper trade on NXTTF in STT

Nice quick trade on NXTTF (Namaste Technologies Inc) this morning. Had an alert on this stock and I’m always glad to play Namaste when I have a good opportunity. Didn’t play this the best in at 0.605 and out a 0.6122 with 1000 shares for a gain of $7.20. I have a feeling there in a lot more upside to this one today and could have probably held through the day. I will be keeping at eye on it today, but for now off the check bankers close in currencies.

Nice little play at end of day on $JVA was willing to hold part over night short, but was glad to see an after hours sell to clear it. I could see it hitting resistance in the $7.24-27 range and took a couple short positions. One I covered fairly quick for a gain and held the other from a #7.24 short looking for $7.10ish. I was pleasantly surprised to get an after hours fill at $6.91 which might not be 100% accurate outside paper world. Still growing paper accounts though.

Entered $CANB this morning as it looked to be ready to break out more and the pot stocks are getting action again. This was actually an accidental position as I had a 10000 share order then canceled and 100 got filled. Nice accident as it did end up doing as I expected. Planning to sell tomorrow into action. Ended the day up $16 on this should have been $160 had got appropriate position.

Made a paper trade on $BIOC this morning, was watching fro break and got a bit. Didn’t get out too soon either as it has been fading off since that spike I sold into. Not a bad paper trade up $120 in about 7-8 minutes. Looking to do more and start watching markets more closely again.
